Review of The Rock 'n' Roll Years

The Rock and Roll Years, was arguably one of the best compilation series made by the BBC in the mid 1980s featuring music and archive footage starting from 1956-1989. My favorite parts were from 1966-70, because some of the most creative and enduring music was written and performed during that time. I actually watched the 1969 episode yesterday evening and I enjoyed it even though I have watched it many times before. The postwar era continues to be one of the most intriguing period of time and this series bears witness to that.
