Yes, it was almost like a remake of a French zombie film, "The Night Eats the World," about a male survivor communicating with a female one, down to the zip-lining to the other building. But the Korean one tried to hard to be cute and romantic for its own good. Yes maybe it will be more marketable in Asia and the ending is more uplifting, however it's not better than the French one.
