Pubic Access (1995 Video)
Dumb satire of Cable access tv
7 August 2020
In New York, Robin Byrd ruled the roost as host of an X-rated (soft X) cable access tv show on Channel J, Manhattan Cable Channel 35, that featured strippers and other Adult performers (including almost equal time fairness to Gay talent) in an interview and solo dancing for the camera format. It was campy but quite popular.

This VCA Pictures satire of same is lame throughout, with unfunny attempted humor and routine sex scenes. Co-hosts of the show named "Balls House" are Ron Jeremy as Sonny Clark and Jon Dough as Boris Jones -right away I was annoyed in that inadvertently the fictional name "Sonny Clark" happens to be the name of a brilliant jazz pianist from the 1950s who posthumously became one of the most beloved artists in jazz history, thanks to his discovery by a new generation of Japanese fans of his many Blue Note label recordings.

Stars appear on the talk show and show film clips to plug their work, and commercials are stupid skits than run 10 minutes long or more. Among the femmes, Anna Malle, Jeanna Fine, Juli Ashton and Danyel Cheeks give the best XXX performances.

"Walter White" directed, apparently back-to-back with this feature, "Bunmasters", a satire of tv infomercials, featuring most of the same cast.
