I expected something way better with all these 8, 9, & 10 star ratings. It was just average to me. I would have liked it more if it wasn't so dated. This doesn't apply to today. It shows 3 different men coming home from the war. They've been gone for years, & are comfortable in the armed service. They are not sure what to expect back home. It shows how they readjust to being back home again. They go through trials & tribulations while they look for work. They lose jobs due to post traumatic stress. They rekindle old romances, lose girlfriends, handle prejudice attitudes & snotty remarks from the public. One man deals with his feelings of inadequacy by drinking too much. They each have their own issues.
