Man, did they ever screw this movie up. Can't Buy Me Love is an amazing film on the same level of Say Anything. It featured a cast of unknowns and told a tale of homage in the same spirit of the Brat Pack films of the 80's. My Love Don't Cost A Thing proves what a terrible actor Nick Canon is and how any script or story in the wrong hands can ruin a film. None of the wit, charm or promise of the original film are here an at the end, there are no redeeming qualities that make you happy that you surrendered 2 hours of your time. They get points for the soundtrack, but don't waste your time watching this weak remake of a true classic title.
