Warning: Spoilers
FINALLY, we got a lot of payoff this episode. Actual answers. The FBI now know about the possibility of two Coopers, which is backed up by a previous case that explains Blue Rose, which had the same phenomenon. Janey-E being Diane's half-sister was a pretty big wow moment. This whole entire conspiracy has been planned out by someone, perhaps the Fireman as we discovered his name to be this episode. Or perhaps he is just a part of it, and the Woodsmen another part. Dougie Jones is certainly a fabrication of the Black Lodge I would assume. I do really like the way this show includes dreams, and how they seem to be so closely related to reality. We also finally got the voyage to the coordinates in the mountains, and Andy of all people is the one who's sucked up into what I assume is the White Lodge. I love the style and the setting of it, and the flashbacks to what I think is Fire Walk With Me worked very well. I think Andy may just know pretty much what we know having seen that. The story that Freddie gave was enthralling. It was a pretty simple story but I was gripped from start to finish, and he may actually be a key part of the last episodes. This whole thing appears to be global. Sarah Palmer seems to be some kind of evil entity which came as a shock. Someone else took their face off in a previous episode but I can't remember who it was, though I'm pretty sure it happened in the Black Lodge, so basically, not good. I'm just glad that we finally got an episode with literally no wasted scenes, and plot progression throughout. It's no wonder it was the best episode of the season, with the exception of part 8
