An emotional rollercoaster, in a tense setting
14 October 2020
So the second season in Mick Flanagans anthology series is back and a new story, a new name, and with less scares!

This show has the same spark as Hill House and is set up like the Hill House but doesn't have the same spine. Bly Manor has interesting characters, a good story line and was written really well. I'll start with the Pros, the story was great it's comes off like it's been done before however as the show goes on you'll come to understand it's originality. Characters was great and enjoyable to watch them develop. The show is full with twists and turns and it had me guessing until the reveal and it's very refreshing to see.

This show is more a love story, you'll realise by the time you finish it, it's so emotional a few episodes had me crying. The show lacks the scares, a few jump scares but literally a handful the show should have been called Bly Manor and it should have been an episode or two shorter!

It begins slow and then picks up and slows down again but the ending is so bitter sweat and satisfying it wraps up really well.

I hope season 3 will improve and scares me as much as Hill House did!
