Drawn to the storm of the story
15 October 2020
'1987' is like domino. One thing leads to another, and you can get out of this development of history.

It's like hurricane. The boundary of the event gets bigger and bigger, and the movie absorbs the audience more and more.

It's like relay. Yeon-hee takes over the relay baton from 1987 and hands over to 2017.

Every single person counts in this domino and storm. Every single person has his or her parts to make the change in the world. Every character's story matters in this movie. Every person makes the whole.

Screen writing is just impeccable. Pace of the story is marathon. You keep running, but you are not exhausted easily. If the events in the movie are dots, lines connecting them are perfect web.

The church scene is an ensemble of symbols. Light and Darkness, Rising and Falling, and God.. The directing is genius.

Worth watching over and over again.
