As well as being, probably, the best horror movie of all time, John Carpenter's Halloween has some moments that exquisitely depict the American 1970s adolescence, thanks to the great acting performance of Jamie Lee Curtis, here at her absolute debut.
I also feel obligated to mention mr. Donald Pleasence, for his great interpretation of one of the most clever minor roles in a horror movie.
Halloween will be up there forever and never grow old.
