A dog is not just for Christmas - but a book is

This film uses the unique and unusual plot device of having a central character lose their memory (or, as in the film: "Doc, you sayin I got aim-knee-jah?" ) Such an inspiring invention should have given the writer an Oscar, but nobody remembered to send a note to the Academy. Good performance from the female lead, who does keep the energy going - her work colleagues also do a fair job of being more than furniture. It seems just about everyone received there own curling tongs and used them every day. The weak link was the Male romantic lead, or Ken Doll, whose looks swung between confused victim and secret axe murderer - just a lttle to much on the creepy side. However it all ended well, like you knew it would. Observations: Fake snow spraying was quite poor- 3 kids with a pail of marshmallows could have down better The tail-out music is Claire de Lune by Debussy, which I know well, as would 1000s of piano students - but they "mashed up" the tune to fit their credits which I have never heard in my life. Imagine this: you pay for Blue Suede Shoes by Elvis as your tail-out music and the edit is : "One for the money, two for the ready. Cat get shoes"
