Manouk van der Meulen plays Marijke Hoogenbloom, who is more than it seems originally. It turns out she's an undercover drugs officer from The Netherlands. It's a shame she didn't appear in further Frost episodes.

Peter Jackson, the cinematographer, films a couple of impressive long takes in this episode. One was in a hospital lift going from floor to floor, with Frost talking to his sidekick, with hospital folk entering and departing at each floor. Another was of Frost confronting a possible suspect in an office. Hats off to Peter Jackson.
