The story is clear and makes sense. It's been a while since we've ad a proper Doctor Who story ever since Chibs took the role of showrunner. However in a world where beautiful vfx artists make beautiful 4k high quality animations in their bedroom for next to nothing, they choose the ps2 designers from 20 years ago. Don't get me wrong, the animations do resemble the classic comics from the 60s and that's so cool, but overall they could have done all of that in a marvel way by taking concepts from comics and making them better by making that beautiful.
