I was a little hesitant to watch this after reading the reviews here. But now I have watched 2 episodes and am hooked. Annaleigh Ashford is a comedic treasure. She gives the show the feel of Big Bang Theory. Then she does the serious talk between her and the daughter and really sells it. Then she crawls back out the window, clumsily, and falls to the ground. That kind of change in personality in the same scene is a great actor. I love the conversations of Drew's dialysis group. On the end of the third episode the dance-off between Gina and Drew was great. Kudos to casting, Drew's gaunt looks and unshaven face make him look sick. His deadbeat delivery is perfect. I will continue watching this show.
And to the show runners, having a comedy about a person sick with kidney disease was very brave.
