He makes a guest appearance as Jess LaCroix's ne'er-do-well father who was a rambling, gambling man; he actually wagered his son's college fund and blew it on the ponies. He shows up one fine day with a honey babe half his age; at the end of the episode, he announces that he and his mattress mistress are getting married. Jess does not seem to be cool with that, but time will tell. We also find out that Jess was a good buddy with John Barleycorn for three years (apparently after his wife and the mother of their daughter passed away). Oh yes, there are two snipers on the loose, and they are shooting rich people in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania but they are dealt with in due time. The implication seems to be that the rich people have it coming, and the two snipers got screwed over due to the virus. A mixed bag at best. Not a good start to the second season. Dick Wolf can do better than that. I wish he would.
