Review of The Last Time I Saw Richard

The other reviews seem to dig way too deep in a search for "meaning" of this film. Also seems like they insist on some homosexual subtext. For me, this was about a bully, locked up in a place for teens with issues. One day he gets a new roommate (the kid who plays Michael Langdon in AHS) who is also a real jerk. The new kid has creatures that appear when he sleeps, the old bully starts to feel protective of his new friend, then immediately gets sent home (seemingly with no concern whether he's mentally prepared). He worries about his friend, and since he was no better off than when he started the film he immediately starts acting out again. Meanwhile, the movie ends with Richard sitting gloss eyed, staring at the snow on the TV and small smoky demons surrounding his chair...
