I am gonna keep it short for the sake of it
This film is more like a possession style movie with people doing things or killing others or even themselves while being possed by the grudge, I have no problems with that as it serves the scares and setting well the main problem is that we barely see the Grudge girl herself.
We may get a hand here or her face there in some scenes but otherwise its just people dying and coming back like a agressive zombie, only getting the iconic sounds the movies are known for from those people in question. I'd give it a higher rating if this movie was not a reboot of the american series of films but as it is based on them I just can't as it doesn't do enough to justify it being a reboot.
