SPOILER ALERT:
While I enjoyed this episode, It was great seeing Boba back in action, I was a little disappointed by the lazy writing choices when it came to Mando's Jetpack.
1: It makes no sense for Boba to tell Mando to remove his jetpack, it only serves as a way for The Empire to take the child at the end.
2: There's no reason why Mando couldn't pick up the Jetpack during the battle. Plus we learned back in Chapter 10 (The Passenger) that Mando can call his Jetpack to him using his gauntlet.
And it probably wouldn't have been hard to fix this plot hole, we've seen Jetpacks get damaged before (just ask Boba).
I don't want it to seem like I hated this episode, but The Mandalorian has had pretty solid writing so far, so I am kind of disappointed to see such a large slip-up.
