Why Do We Care?
5 December 2020
I've really enjoyed this season. It has spread the attention around. Prince Charles, Prince Philip, Margaret, , Princess Ann,the Queen, the cast of Prime Ministers. Some complain there isn't enough Queen. But it's called "The Crown," which is a general term for the royalty. I've loved the attention to historical events and the rise of the next generation. Margaret is not a fun character. Her bitterness over Elizabeth refusing to monarchy with her defines her. She has everything one could want materially, but she is unhappy. Husband, Tony, cares for her on the one hand and can't stand her on the other. He is also a self centered jerk. In this finale of Season 3, the sparks fly. We also see Elizabeth's kindness toward this profligate sibling. There are some sad moments as we find out about the illness of Edward Heath. I think the episode was well done...it was just uncomfortable to watch.
