This film begins in the city of Hyderabad where a police inspector by the name of "Vijay Khanna" (Ram Charan) has gone to the site of a large political protest which has blocked a major road leading to a hospital. Concerned that ambulances are having difficulty getting through Inspector Khanna asks the leader of the protest to unblock the road. When the protestors refuse a violent skirmish takes place and even though the road is cleared Inspector Khanna is unfairly blamed for the violence and is subsequently transferred to Mumbai. Upon arrival there one of his first cases involves a man who was burned to death by members of an organized crime syndicate involved with illegal gasoline and oil supplies led by a powerful and influential man named "Rudra Pratap Teja" (Prakash Raj). Naturally, being new to the area Inspector Khanna soon realizes that in order to proceed with the investigation and protect an eye witness named "Mala" (Priyanka Chopra) he is going to need some strong allies on his side and as luck would have it he soon meets a former crime lord by the name of "Sher Khan" (Sanjay Dutt) and a prominent newspaper journalist named "Jaidev" (Atul Kulkarni) who volunteer their assistance. Yet even with these strong allies Inspector Khanna has no idea of the difficulties and dangers that lie just ahead. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that this film started off rather well but seemed to lose its energy the further on it went. On that note, I enjoyed the performance of Ram Charan and to a lesser extent that of Priyanka Chopra. And while I liked a couple of song and dance numbers by Priyanka Chopra and Mahie Gill (as "Mona Darling") I did not particularly care for the one by Sanjay Dutt that much. In short, although this wasn't a great picture by any means, it had its moments and I have rated it accordingly. Slightly above average.
