"Land and Freedom" is a Drama - War movie in which we watch a man going to Spain in 1937 during the civil war. There he enrolls the republicans in order to defend the democracy against the fascists and find his way in life. Through his experiences and the friendships that makes during the war, he changes as a person.
I liked this movie because it had a very interesting plot with some plot twists that left me speechless. I also found it very interesting because it shows the real face of war in general and more specifically of the Spanish Civil War and what really happened back then. The interpretations of both Ian Hart who played as David Carr and Rosana Pastor who played as Blanca were very good and they both did an excellent job. To sum up, I believe that "Land and Freedom" is a nice movie to watch and I am sure that everybody will gain something by watching it.
