Now, all my life I have always been anti-anime, but my friends would never cease recommending and nagging at me so I went and I looked at what great anime movies there were, and that's when I met Akira. Credit to the kind, slightly dodgy bloke on YouTube who pirated the movie so that we didn't have too. It was terrific, terrifying, violent and so much more, it never ceased it barrage of layered plot lines and nightmarish imagery until it finally reached the end, and all that was left was silence. Overall this is a movie worth your time by a bloody long-shot, ENJOY!
