Undoubtedly the worst episode yet. I had a feeling this would be a filler one and so it proves. The only interesting parts of the episode are the bits with the cameoing wolf and the big suspense sequence in which Serena and the Commander show up at the house; both great, well-directed moments. The rest just consists of inane, pointless flashbacks (I remember when I used to look forward to the flashbacks in this show) and then an elongated birth sequence at the climax, which goes on for even longer thanks to random intercutting to a past birth. Talk about making a lot out of a little.
