This is another neat little story in this likable series - this time concerning a con-man who seems to be plagiarizing Esther's work to lure unsuspecting women into dating him, whereby he makes off with their money.

We get to see some Thames regulars once again - Norman Eshley (as con-man Paul) would of course later appear as a memorable guest star in an episode of The Sweeney, as well as Man About the House - and co-star in long-running sitcom George & Mildred. We also get to see the lovely Jenny Hanley - very soon to find fame with a younger audience as a presenter of Thames' children's magazine programme Magpie.

Once again here, Esther and Gradley work well together as they hatch out a cunning plan to expose Paul - and seem to be quite enjoying themselves in the process!

Despite the show's stagey and studio-bound look, it has plenty of 70s atmosphere, humour and charm - and Anouska is delightful and understated as the smart and glamorous Esther.
