After a great opening scene the first episode ambles along at an almost pedestrian pace.
Maya Cobbina has been based in the U.S for two decades, trying to save a man from death row, upon returning to The UK, she's offered a new job, those around her face pressures.
I found this very hard to follow if I'm honest, I watched it twice to try and digest what was going on, as it was all over the place. I understood the basics, what Maya was doing out there etc, but the whole story surrounding her husband had me absolutely baffled, it was confusing.
The story wasn't easy to follow, the acting was superb, I am always so impressed with the two main stars, Okonedo and Lester, are both awesome.
I found this had work, but am certain it will get better, 6/10.
