To make a film on a taboo subject is in itself bold. Generally house helps are portrayed as 'ramu kaka' or 'kanta bai' or a devious conspiring individual but nothing beyond that (unless the hero or heroine is masquerading as one)
Here is a film which breaks all the barriers and gives them an identity and treats them as humans having ambition.
Brilliant performances by everyone, no unnecessary drama or a subplot makes this movie watchable. The only constraint is the length. Should it have been 15 to 20 mins shorter it would be a more tighter movie.
