Warning: Spoilers
I liked the first two Harry Potter films very much, they were as cheerful and entertaining as their literary templates, and exactly when the novels got darker, so did the films, but in order to make it completely possible, the director had to change. So instead of Chris Columbs, the director became Alfonso Cuaráron, because Chris Columbs is objectively simply unable to adapt Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban. This HP film is therefore extremely dark, we have excellent time-back concepts and balancing these events that were subsequently done with what happened then. We also have Gary Oldman who embodied Sirius Black superbly. The film is mysterious and actually the colors of the film are much grayer and washed away than what we've seen before probably to match the tone of the film. Otherwise a great movie, significantly better than the first two as good as they are. But like the first two, worth watching.
