Warning: Spoilers
The smallest of mistakes might turn our lives upside down. The disappearance of an infant in 'Pink Elli' shatters the life's of the characters in a Fahradi-esque thriller.

The so called 'mumblecore' genre is new to Kannada cinema, which is why films like 'Pinki Elli' are very refreshing. The films chugs along at a reasonable pace and manages to grab your attention throughout.

The mix of professional and non-professional actors gives a very nice texture to the plot. Important societal topics such as treatment of trans-people and live-in relationships are examined. Pinki disappearance culminates in a very suspenseful third act where it feels like the plot could go anywhere.

You also get a look at the Bangalore that isn't present in other films. No exotic locations or film set dance numbers here. Powerful Cinema.
