6/10
dreadful score and stiff acting...but they stay in character, and the story itself is good
31 January 2021
Very hard to stay watching something that seems awful. To those who did not complete the 1 hours and 40 minutes, shame on you if you reviewed it. Why?, because, as awful this film is, it has a story, which, in itself is quite beautiful. There are lost pointers, dreadful directing, awful score and frankly, one impossible to believe scene that goes on until someone arrives and cancels it. I think it is worth a gander, if you can manage to get past all of the above. The story itself i mark as a 8.5, the execution of it, 3 out of 10. We all know Joan Collins just simply cannot act, but you know what?..so does she, and that's what makes her tick and succeed in this. I would not watch this twice, but i would watch this once, and do not regret that hour and 40 minutes. One last thing. Immersive viewing comes in many guises, the people who trashed this film really ought to think before they vote, it is very one sided to cast down a film like this, without actually trying to understand the story, and one star simply does not reflect the time and acting alone, there are a few films on IMDB that are 1/10 and this is simply not one of them
