From the onset, the player knows how this is going to go, or at least what the goal is. The reason for playing however is in the variety, depth of details, and storytelling. There are 3 major story lines, some intersecting, and a variety of choices as well as endings. Sure there's some action, there is adventure, but most of it is about the drama. Important game that discusses what it means to be human, have emotions, thoughts, and individuality which plays on many themes throughout history in the hopes of building a better future.
Drawing me in, I played a lot of the game in a very short amount of time like a book I couldn't put down. Although I liked the story more of the former game Beyond: Two Souls, I give them both the highest of marks. Did I make right decisions? Yep. Did I make wrong decisions? Yep. Realizing both though is was the learning process is all about. Detroit Become Human accomplishes this in a gripping way.
