Review of The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

As I began watching the film, I couldn't understand why English/American actors had been chosen over German/Austrian actors. I couldn't even take the story seriously because I was so stuck on the accents! It's a great story overall but I'd rather read the book where my mind doesn't have to hear English speaking actors being a willingly part of the Holocaust. Feel free to use English actors when the subject is fantastic, but when it's historical, have some respect for the actual facts and use the proper actors to convey the story
