Review of Don't Tell a Soul

Could have had potential, but it was full of nonsense. Fionn Whitehead played the typical character you hate in the first five minutes. The rest was blahhh. My ending of this mess would be as follows: as Hamby and Joey are driving away in the truck, the police arrive and an ensuing shootout happens; Hamby doesn't kill the female cop but takes her gun and then taunts the older brother Matt trapped in the back of the cruiser, then kills him. As Hamby goes back to the truck, that's when Carol the mother kills Hamby with the rifle from her porch. Then Mom and good son live happily ever after with the stolen money and whatever reward there is outstanding from Hamby. It's a crap ending to have the vile brother suddenly have a love-fest and epiphany after kicking the crap out of Joey in the hole. He's the character that should go the way of Hamby - dead and gone, forgotten. Totally unrealistic events, but it's a movie!
