Hosts Make a great Concept Unwatchable
13 February 2021
I love the idea of this show and I think it was a smart decision considering how many shows netflix regularly puts out. However it's executed so poorly, because of the choice in hosts, that it's unwatchable. David Spades comedy is too outdated for today's audience and he frankly comes off as a huge narcissist that continuously tries to pull focus from the guests the viewers are actually tuning in to hear from. Hugh's is just abysmal the entire time. Her comedy is not on point, she's repetitive in her material, and, like spade, she tends to make things more about herself than who she's supposedly interviewing. I honestly can't remember the name of the other host, though I thought she was the only okay one. It seems hard for her to get a word in around Spade and Hugh's however. Over all the way the guests are treated by both Spade and Hugh's is not appropriate what so ever and the show is just totally unenjoyable to watch because of it. Its a great concept for a show but the choice of hosts actually makes me feel bad for any of the actors/actresses who have to go on it. It's not even informative for fans of the shows because they think they're tuning in to hear from the people who play their favorite characters and instead get lead into a Spade and Hugh's out dated sudo comedy half hour.
