The family on the whole are fed up of clashes, Agnes and Hilary, Rory and Dino, efforts are made all round to smooth the path in both cases.
I think this is around the time where the show really was at its peak, the jokes are thick and fast, the originality and timing are exquisite.
The scene where Mrs Brown is talking to an upset Rory is a glorious moment.
It's very funny, but it's also very sweet, after so many fallings out, the births really change the tone, and give us the happy ending.
