This Australian short film was release alongside 'Space Camp' (1986), but has no real relation to that film (other than being a kids film). A scout group heads to he bush for a camping trip. Along the way they sing songs and tell tall-tales. One story is a 'scary' local legend, designed to frighten the younger scouts. As the trip goes on the older boys further torment the younger ones by 'acting' out the legend.
The film neatly captures the feel of a scout camp, the scout leaders, and the stereotypical dynamics between older and younger boys. The 'scary' legend is effective without being too scary for a young audience. Harmless fun really.
