This is essentially a constructed, made for USA, version of 2 Lone Wolf and Cub films. As such for many people like me it was a great intro to proper martial arts movies before discovering even more proper martial arts movies (minus the dubbing lol).
A brilliant story beautifully filmed and told about a Samurai who will do anything to protect his family.
The weapons are great and so are the kills and there are plenty of them!!
