This was clearly a documentary the BBC were proud of and wanted to do right, judging by the high end level of the talking heads making an appearance.
I agree with other reviewers though, while this is fascinating stuff, tracking key social sitcoms over time, it does let a few popular ones slip through the net, as well as saying that 'The Office' and 'Gavin and Stacey' were the only big hits of the noughties.
