After the unmentionable abomination that is Halloween 3, the return of big Mike in an actual sequel was like an early xmas present.
The tone of the films has now changed slightly to gimmicky hack and slash (fine by me) and to focusing more on Myers (following the style of Jason and Freddy). So where he was once a shadow or a feeling he is much more overt.
Does the film work? Hell yeah :)
