I agree that remakes should not be made. However if this movie was not remade i wouldnt have known about this movie. I watch hindi films and not south indian films (no offence to those who likes them) so i discovered this little gem through akshay kumar wikipedia since it is his production.
My mom and i are horror movie buffs so we decided to watch it together tonight. Im writing this review after watching 30 mins ago.
We both enjoyed the film not because its akki's production but because it was different. Political Horror film. Story and direction was gd. Performance wise was ok 4 me. We thought arshad n bhumi's acting was gd compared to some reviewers who thought otherwise. The comedy parts were funny. The last 30mins of the movie was interesting. Twist and another twist. Looking forward for more hindi horror films.
