The first episode of Almost Family Blew me Away. It was both funny and heartbreaking at the same time. Here, Brittany Snow shines as Julia Bechley. Julia is a hard-working woman who is trying to support her egotistical father, Doctor Leon Bechley. He is a renowned fertility doctor. However, one day Julia's world is turned upside down when it is revealed her father used his own sperm to impregnate multiple parents who came to his miracle clinic to try and become pregnant as a last resort. Thus, Julia is reconnected with her long-lost sisters Edie Palmer (lawyer and Julia's Frenemy) and Roxy Doyle (former child Olympian).
I love Brittany Snow. She is an amazing actor and it is so good to see her in a leading role for once. I would dare to say this is among her best work. Julia is both a funny and tragic character, and you can't help but love her. I think the other two sisters are also interesting characters, but I wasn't as invested in their characters. I really hope people will watch this show with an open mind.
