Friendly little film which tries to tick all the boxes but never quite gets the timing right. Thing is, there is an astonishing little Australian series called UPRIGHT which tried to tick all those same boxes -- friendship, music, goals, life, loss, honesty, road trips -- and nailed each one. So it can be done. But not here.
