Started our disjointed so you're forced to watch nearly 1/3 of the whole thing before things click into place. Somewhat.
But then the whole worldbuilding starts to break. Main characters not acting cautiously enough allowing for the plot to move along.
And Oh boy does it move. It stumbles forward like someone almost ready to fall down but just keep on putting one foot in front of the other a second before going down.
Last third of the season definitely shows they didn't think pacing through and didn't count on how much story they need to cram into 27 episodes.
Probably should have been 2 seasons.
Passable as an interesting animation experience. Though there's few people I'd recommend it to.
