The Ron Clark Story (2006 TV Movie)
3/10
Cliche!
24 March 2021
Watched for an hour. Loved it actually. Then took a break and never went back and never will force myself to finish it. Why?

Because it is the same hollywoodization of utter tripe. This same style has been seen before (and after!) whether it be Dangerous Mind or the John Leguizamo's chess movie that they might as well call this its own genre.

But it's just so cheesy.

I know we all can use a bit of positivity and feel good warmth and comfort, but that doesn't excuse cheesy portrayal. Nothing against Perry or the remarkable kids or the true story in general (which I am not too familiar with...), but if you want honesty... it's just another cliche portrayal of rowdy middle schoolers.

Of course most people wouldn't admit it cuz "teaching" is somehow a hallowed profession here in America.
