I've been an atheist since I was 8 years old. I went to a Christian summer camp growing up despite that and I loved it. Some of my happiest memories are from that camp. However, I didn't go into this film with the knowledge of it being a Christian film. I thought it'd be just a cute summer camp movie. Imagine my surprise when I was blasted by a God worshipping song within the first 7 minutes. Even with my discomfort, I stuck around and finished the film. While I don't agree with the heavy religious stuff it was still pretty nice. I won't be showing it to any kids anytime soon but for teenagers who already have their own beliefs, I think this is a good film. Definitely something cute to have on in the background.
