Just like Black Mirror was exciting with completely new futuristic ideas in the beginning episodes and then failed to continually deliver its impressive and provocative stories, Electric Dreams also started strong then fizzled by the middle of the first season. The background soundtracking in many episodes is so repetitive that it's like nails on a chalkboard. The music In the season one finale of Electric Dreams is so bad I stopped watching 10 minutes before it ended, and I don't care what happened.
It seems many of these futuristic shows with technology that's harmful or goes wrong just can't keep the ideas fresh nor interesting.
