I care more about the plots of these short stories more than the effects (which are beautiful). With that being said, I think this is one of the better episodes of series by far. It has a magical story and although the subplot relating to the British colonizers is dark, it is not something that people should be getting angry about.
However, the arc of the Yan is dark, and I think her story of prostitution and her surgery into a robot in particular was very hard to watch. More so than some of the other dark scenes within this series.
I still think it was an amazing story, but I think the topics in this episode can be difficult to watch and could be a sensitive topic to some viewers.
