Saboteur is the sort of massively entertaining romantic-thriller that Hitchcock could make in his sleep. It's not particularly revelatory in plot or message, especially when compared with other similar-but-better wrongly-accused-man-on-the-run Hitchcock films (North by Northwest, The 39 Steps, Foreign Correspondent). Still, it's full of great action-adventure moments: opening factory fire, boat explosion, circus train, and, of course, Lady Liberty.
