With specific reference to the actual Title. The Bible IS the Word of God, therefore, the Koran (as it appears to be spelt in this episode) cannot be. Whilst it is sacred to the followers of Islam, the actual story is in reality meaningless. However, you do have an encounter with another "toff" as part of the story line - a female surgeon operating on people for money, but like the previous episode, we have another "toff" who has superior intellect to Lynley and cant be arrested as she appears to know all the right people. The Murderer, who is easy to work out is someone with a lust for lots of money-to be made out of this particular Koran! Sadly, the writer has gone to town on the continuing "grief" of Lynley at losing his wife who we havent seen for numerous episodes which is affecting his work. Watch if you have nothing better to do. For fans of Sharon Small, its at present, the only thing making watching these, watchable. She is a better copper than he will ever be!
