Blackadder II (1986)
10/10
British humor at its best.

British humor, you get it or you don't get it, you like it or you don't like it. In my case I just love it! Black Adder is one of those British series I can watch over and over again. It's stupid humor but also brilliant at the same time. The second season is this time set in the Tudor era and it's just brilliant. Rowan Atkinson as Edmund, Duke Of Edinburgh, is like always a delight to watch. His vocabulary is what makes this show standing out from the rest. Tony Robinson as Baldrick, his loyal servant, is smarter than we think, he represents the common people in this show. Tim McInnerny as Lord Percy is probably the actor I liked the most in all the seasons. In the second season we finally get Miranda Richardson as Queen Eliabeth I, a very smart move to bring her character in Black Adder. Stephen Fry as Lord Melchett is another brilliant character as is Nursie played by Patsy Byrne. Black Adder, a series where the tune alone will stay in your head forever.
