Although Inside started off rough with some poor acting, you grow to deal with it and it gets better as you go on. Keeps you on your toes. There were stupid decisions, but that is expected with B film thrillers. However, the ending was really rushed and leaves you saying, "Well what was all that?" It was basically an hour and a half of a deaf, pregnant woman being attacked by a woman who wants her baby. Kept me anxious throughout it and I can think of worse "horror" movies than this one.
Insane summary of the whole movie: The movie starts off with a pregnant lady and her husband, who causes a crash with another in a head on collision. It picks back up with the lady at the hospital for a check up, where she finds out she is close to giving birth. She goes home and you meet a few side characters. This is when a lady appears at her door, and also where the acting starts to pick up. The lady is forceful and asking to come in to use her phone, the lady says no because it would wake her husband, to which the woman outside responds, "quit lying, he's dead." Pregnant lady then calls the cops, they come and check it out and find nothing, but say a patrol car will come by later. She then proceeds to go to sleep. She wakes up to find someone else is in her house and has been tampering with her. She puts in her hearing aids and runs to the bathroom where an ongoing scene between the lady trying to get in and her attacking the woman plays out. Her friend, which we previously met, turns up at the door where the attacker introduces herself as the mother. This is debunked when the real mother shows up minutes later. Real mother rushes in past the attacker and gets killed via self defense of the pregnant lady, who thought it was her attacker. The attacker then kills her friend. Pregnant lady runs back into the bathroom and tries to get the attention of a neighbor, who calls the pregnant lady, but dies seconds later due to the attacker breaking in. Pregnant lady then grabs the back of the toilet lid and bashes the door in to find that the attacker had moved a dresser in front of the door. She struggles, then is grabbed by the attacker. She gets loose and when the attacker sticks her arm in to unlock the door, she cuts her with a mirror shard. The cops come back for a check in and the attacker introduces herself as the main character. The cop goes back to his car where his partner is and she informs him she should be pregnant. He goes back and dies. More chasing between the pregnant lady and the attacker. The pregnant lady knocks the attacker out unconscious .The cop partner goes in and sees he is dead, then sees the pregnant lady and does not believe a word she says. They go back upstairs to see the attacker, but she is not there and is turning the lights out. The cop goes downstairs to turn them on and gets shot by the attacker. More fighting and chasing between the attacker and the pregnant woman. Pregnant woman manages to get out to the abandoned squad car and call for help before the attacker also gets in the car. Pregnant lady then drives and crashes the car, knocking the attacker out again. She runs into the nearest house only to find it is the attackers and that she has been spying on her. She hides in the closet when she hears the attacker coming back. Quick monologue from the attacker, and then more fighting. The pregnant lady manages to get outside but stumbles onto a pool cover. They fight there and talk before they plunge into water, under the cover. In the end, the attacker pushes the pregnant lady to safety, and she gives birth with the cops surrounding her.
