Utterly ridiculous

Warning: Spoilers
There is no way that someone in a wheelchair will be able to do the job necessary as a detective. Are her now 2 partners supposed to carry her and her wheelchair up numerous flights of stairs in buildings that do not have an elevator so she can look at a crime scene? She was offered a promotion and turned it down. One that would allow her to be a detective, just not one that went to crime scenes. The other reviewer was right when he pointed our that a guy with a gun and able to run would not have been able to be caught by someone in a wheelchair. The rest of the stories were fine, but it got downgraded due to the stupidity of this part of the show. Then at the end she mentions that she has applied to other police departments. There is no police department that is going to let her be a detective that goes to active crime scenes. It sucks that she is disabled and in a wheelchair, but life throws us curve balls and we need to often change the course and path that we were on. If they wanted her to remain as a detective that investigates crime scenes, they needed to write it so that she finds a way to regain the use of her legs and is now capable of walking on her own to do the investigations, as well as being able to run after those who try to get away. That is a part of being an investigative detective. They need better writers. That was just straight up ridiculous.
